Vexlore builds AI-powered education tools — Companion (K–12 classrooms), Home (homeschool families), Campus (colleges and universities), and A+ (individual students). This policy covers vexlore.org itself and the account data every Vexlore product shares, including Google Sign-In. Each product also has its own privacy notice covering the specifics of how it handles student, family, or institutional data — linked below.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture — the minimum Google provides for authentication. We use this solely to create and identify your account. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or any other Google data, and we never post or send anything on your behalf.
Account data is used to authenticate you, personalize your experience within the product you signed into, and — where a product's own terms require it — bill for a subscription. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising. Data is stored encrypted with our database provider (Supabase) and only accessed by Vexlore staff to operate, maintain, or troubleshoot the service.
Each product handles subject-specific data differently — for example, Home operates under COPPA with a parent as the account holder, and Companion/Campus operate under FERPA on behalf of a contracting school or college. Read the notice for the product you use:
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us below. Where a product operates on behalf of a school or institution (Companion, Campus), some requests may need to go through that institution first — see that product's own notice for details.
